Critical Issues Facing schooling Nowadays

Education all over the world is one of the primary needs that humans need to reach a better humanity and improve by investing their brain and senses in what gives them benefits and facilitate their lives. However, Education itself is a hard and complicated concept and it is always getting harder with time. Nowadays, with the huge diversity in societies which affect students' need, rights and their goals, it is getting even more complicated, where schools now are not only a place to get information and memorize concepts. Schools are large social service institutions that resemble the outer community from where the students came from.

Although, this diversity of students is making schooling complicated, i think it is needed by them to get ready to be live as social persons later in their community. Thus, schools should be aware of this diversity and try to invest it in the best way for the students in order to make better social life  in our communities, and in fact it is not hard for any school to do.

Diversity domains between students are many but, the main are the socio-economic status that reflect the differences between the economic abilities of students that in turn depends on their families' funding abilities and responding to their children economic needs. In addition to the social status that reflect the background of the students like coming from educated families or not, and some familial personal issues that affect the students' social and emotional needs.

 

Another domain is the diversity of religion and politics, where the students are reflecting the religious background represented in their families including different beliefs and religious actions. In addition to that, students are aware at a young age of the political issues around them, either due to their parents involvement or due to their ability to get it through social media.

Nationality and Cultural backgrounds, are also important points that reflect the differences between students weather in language, accent, dealing with others, greeting, food, clothes and many other things that are seen clearly by the students and make them feel this diversity.

Gender and physical appearance are also represent clear differences between students in schools, as outside the school. But, what make students get affected, are the obvious differences between students of the same class and same age group , where they could differ in height, weight, color of the skin, the eyes or hair especially during puberty age.
